All assessment and treatment suggestions are in accordance with best practice guidelines as per the Royal Australian and Newzealand College of Psychiatrists and individualised to your own situation
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan to alleviate symptoms of depression, Bipolar disorder and other common metal health issues
Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. All treatment suggestions are implemented in conjunction with your local GP and psychologist.
Inpatient treatment is available for cases requiring close follow up and care. Please note this requires an eligible health fund membership. Our staff can help with finding if you may be eligible for this. Treatment programmes are generally 3 weeks and involve daily therapy sessions and twice weekly psychiatric reviews.
Psychiatrists can offer MEDICARE REBATED telehealth assessments with a valid referral from your GP.
Mental illness is more common than we think.
1 in every 5 Australians — about 4 million people — suffers from a mental illness in a given year, and almost half the population has suffered a mental disorder at some time in their life. The most common mental disorders are depression, anxiety and substance use disorders.
Every day, at least six Australians die from suicide and a further thirty people will attempt to take their own life
According to some statistics, 54% of people with mental illness do not access any treatment. This is worsened by delayed treatment due to serious problems in detection and accurate diagnosis.
